The LAM2377 is an integrated canopy hood: it hides inside a 600mm wall cabinet so that nothing shows in the room but the underside and the controls. It runs three speeds plus a boost, reaching 580 cubic metres an hour and 670 on boost, which is a strong figure for a 60cm unit, and it can be ducted outside or run on recirculation.
Before you order, three things to check
- It needs a 600mm cabinet. Howdens give a Minimum Cabinet Size of 600mm. The unit itself is 520mm wide, 325mm high and 280mm deep, so it sits inside the carcase rather than replacing it. Howdens publish no separate aperture figure.
- The carbon filter for recirculation is not included. Howdens' specification says Carbon Filter: Required for Recirculation - Not Included, while a second row on the same page reads Number of Carbon Filters: 2 x Non Washable Filters. We reproduce both below because the page carries both, but treat the filter as a separate purchase. If you are recirculating rather than ducting outside, ask us and we will source the correct filter alongside the hood.
- Howdens do not publish a duct outlet diameter for this model, and the outlet reducer is not included. We will not quote a diameter we cannot source, so if you are buying ducting to match, contact us first and we will confirm it with Howdens. The 90cm model in the same family publishes 150mm, but that is not evidence for this one and we are not carrying it across.
It is hard wired on a 3A supply with a 1.2m lead and no plug fitted. There is one washable grease filter, two 2.2W LED lights at a fixed 4000K cool white, and no remote control, timer or wireless function.

Electrical connection should be made by a competent person. Ducting to an outside wall gives markedly better performance than recirculation on any hood.
