Matt black is the finish that reads as a deliberate choice against a pale worktop, and it is the one to pick if the rest of the kitchen's ironmongery is already dark. The knurled texture is practical as well as decorative — it gives a positive grip on wet or soapy hands. Each handle is solid brass, 13mm in diameter and 38mm tall, and the pack is supplied with a base plinth and an aerator case so the whole visible assembly matches.
Which Kynance taps do these fit? Howdens state only "For Use With: Kynance Taps" and name no individual model numbers, and there is no compatibility chart in the manufacturer's documentation. We have not assumed one. If you tell us the code or the age of your Kynance tap we will confirm the fit with Howdens before you order.

Note: unlike the two brushed nickel packs in this range, this product carries no "Finishing Process" row on Howdens' specification. We have not carried the nickel packs' Finox process across to it.
Installation
These are a handle change, not a plumbing job — no pipework is disturbed and the water does not need to be turned off at the main in most cases. The pack contains two handles, a base plinth and an aerator case.
Howdens' Care and Maintenance row refers to a "Product Care and Maintenance Manual" which is not published on their product page, and the only document attached to it is the installation guide for the Kynance taps rather than one for the handles. Ask us and we will send you what Pronteau supply.

Howdens publish a 2 Year Manufacturer's Guarantee on this product. We should tell you that the Kynance installation guide linked from the same page states that decorative surface finishes are guaranteed for one year from purchase. We are quoting you both figures rather than picking the more flattering one, and we are asking Pronteau to confirm which applies to the handles.
