The same tall Victorian swan neck as the chrome, in brushed aged brass — the finish that does most of the work in a period or country kitchen. Aged brass is warm and slightly uneven by design rather than bright and uniform, so it sits properly against a butler sink, timber worktops, or a painted dresser instead of looking like a modern tap in a gold coat.
Two levers, set separately for hot and cold, on ceramic disc cartridges. 363mm to the top of the swan with a 194mm reach, a swivel spout, and a replaceable aerator. It fits a single tap hole, so it does not require the two holes a bridge tap needs.
This one works on low pressure. Rated from 0.3 bar and listed as suitable for low to high pressure systems, so it is a real option on a gravity-fed tank — unusual for a tap of this height. WRAS approved.
Living with aged brass. It is a living finish: it will settle and darken slightly with use, particularly around the levers, and that is the point of it rather than a fault. Wipe with a soft damp cloth only — no abrasive creams, no bleach, no limescale remover. Howdens quote one year on the surface finish for this version, against two on the polished chrome, which is consistent with it being a brushed living finish.
Fitting note: maximum sink or worktop thickness 40mm, 52mm footprint.
