The Landstone is a squared-off, architectural tap — a right-angled spout and two slim levers, with none of the curves of a traditional swan neck. It suits a handleless or slab-door kitchen where everything else is a straight line.
The finish is brushed nickel applied by the Finox process, a physical plating that bonds the nickel to the body rather than lacquering over it. In practice that means a soft warm silver that resists tarnishing and hides fingerprints and watermarks much better than polished chrome. You will see the same finish described as Brushed Finox on trade paperwork — it is the same thing.
Landstone is a Howdens own-label range, sold only through their trade counters. We hold the account, so you can buy it without one. There is no other UK retailer for this tap.
Please check before ordering. This is a mains-pressure tap rated 1-5.5 bar and specified for high pressure systems only — it is not suitable for a gravity-fed or low-pressure supply. If you are on a tank-fed system, talk to us first and we will point you at something that will work.
One point of clarity on the levers. This tap has two levers but a single flow — hot and cold are mixed inside the body and come out of one spout, exactly as a single-lever tap does. It is not a twin-flow or bridge tap with separate hot and cold streams. Howdens' own description implies otherwise; the manufacturer's specification says Single Flow and that is what you will get.
