The Sennen is the angular one in the Howdens range — a spout that turns through a hard right angle instead of curving, finished here in a warm brushed aged brass. It is a contemporary shape in a traditional metal, which makes it unusually flexible: it sits comfortably in a handleless slab kitchen and equally well against shaker doors in a muted green or clay.
A single lever controls temperature and flow together, so it can be worked one-handed while the other is holding a full pan. The spout swivels, which matters on a double bowl, and the aerator is replaceable rather than sealed into the spout — in a hard-water area you can change the part rather than the tap.
One thing to check before you order. This is the compact body in the Sennen range. At 298mm tall with a 218mm reach it is noticeably smaller than the chrome and matt black Sennens, and it accepts a maximum worktop or sink thickness of 45mm. If you are fitting through a thick solid-surface worktop, measure first.
