A brushed stainless steel blanking plate for the spare tap hole in a reversible sink. Most reversible sinks are pressed with a tap hole on both sides so they can be fitted left- or right-handed; whichever way round yours goes in, one hole is left over. This covers it neatly and stops water getting through.
Read the two measurements carefully — they are not what people expect. Both tap hole covers we sell are 40mm in diameter. The second figure is the depth, and it is the one that has to match your sink:
- TAP0045 (this one) — 40mm diameter, 15mm deep. For a standard pressed steel or thin-gauge sink deck.
- TAP0046 — 40mm diameter, 40mm deep. For a thicker sink deck.
If you order on diameter alone you will get the right hole size and possibly the wrong depth, so measure the thickness of the sink material around the hole before choosing. If you are not sure, send us a photograph and a measurement and we will tell you which one you need.
A rubber washer is included and does the sealing. The body is stainless steel with a brushed finish, so it resists scratching, will not rust in a wet sink and cleans with the same cloth as the rest of the bowl.
