The Lamona LAM6051 is a built-under integrated fridge with a 92 litre fridge compartment and a separate 15 litre 4-star ice box, designed to sit under a worktop behind a matching cabinet door. It is the answer when you want a fridge and a small freezer in a single under-counter space.

Before you order: the housing
Howdens publish no cabinet aperture for this model. That is unusual and we are not going to invent one. What they do publish is the appliance itself: 818mm high x 595mm wide x 545mm deep, standing on four adjustable feet. A 595mm body normally implies a 600mm cabinet, but a nominal cabinet width is not an aperture figure and we will not present it as one.
If you are building the run rather than replacing like for like, contact us before you order and we will get the aperture dimensions from Howdens in writing. An installation kit is supplied with the appliance.
It runs on a fitted 13A plug, so no electrician is needed. The door is reversible, so it can hinge either way.
What we would tell you in the showroom
- Automatic defrost in the fridge compartment. No more chipping ice off the back wall.
- A genuine 4-star ice box, which means it will freeze fresh food, not merely keep frozen food frozen. On a lot of small fridges the ice box is 2 or 3 star and will only store.
- 37dB and a wide 10 to 43 degree ambient range, the widest of any Lamona refrigeration we stock. That matters if it is going in a utility, a garage conversion or a room that gets genuinely cold in winter.
- Eight hours of safe storage in a power cut, which Howdens publish and most brands do not.
- Two full-length door balconies, a full-width salad crisper and two glass shelves.
- Rotary control, no digital display. Simple, and nothing to fail.
Two things Howdens do not publish for this model, so we will not claim them: the defrost method for the ice box (the automatic defrost row refers to the fridge only), and the door-fitting mechanism - whether the cabinet door is fixed directly or on a sliding bracket. Ask us and we will confirm.
