The Lamona LAM3713 is a 70 litre built-in single multifunction oven in stainless steel with pyrolytic self-cleaning. The cavity heats to burn cooking residue to ash, so the interior wipes clean with a cloth. No chemicals, no scrubbing, no oven-cleaning afternoon.

Before you order: the cabinet aperture
This oven needs a housing aperture of 585mm high x 560mm wide x 560mm deep. The appliance body measures 597 x 595 x 571mm; the fascia and door deliberately overhang the aperture, which is normal for a built-in oven. Measure the aperture in the cabinet, not the appliance you are replacing.
It is hard wired, not plug-in. 3400W on a 16A supply with a 1.5m mains lead. It needs its own circuit and a qualified electrician, so allow for that in the budget.
What we would tell you in the showroom
- Pyrolytic cleaning is the reason to buy this oven. At this money most ovens give you an enamel wipe-clean liner. This one burns the cavity clean itself.
- Telescopic runners across five shelf positions, which is unusual in this bracket and considerably safer when you are sliding out a full roasting tin.
- Eight oven functions and, separately, nine automatic cooking programmes. Howdens publish both figures because they are different things: the functions are cooking modes, the programmes are presets. We have not merged them.
- A triple glazed door with removable glass for cleaning, plus a childlock.
- No soft-close door and no delayed-start cooking on this model. If you want both, and 15 functions instead of 8, look at the LAM3752 in black.

Delivery and installation
Delivered on a pallet. This is a 35kg appliance and it is hard wired, so plan for two people to lift it and an electrician to connect it.
