A pack of two replacement carbon filters for the Lamona LAM2304 (60cm) and LAM2305 (80cm) stainless steel canopy extractors. We stock both of those hoods, so if you bought the extractor from us this is the filter that goes with it.
You only need carbon filters if your extractor recirculates. A hood ducted out through an outside wall does not use them at all. In recirculation mode the activated charcoal traps cooking odours and grease before the air is returned to the room. These filters are non-washable — when they stop working they are replaced, not cleaned. Six to twelve months is typical, depending on how hard the hood works.
Howdens sell to trade account holders only, which is why Lamona spares are awkward to buy if you are not in the trade. We hold a Howdens account, so you can order this part here without one.

Fitting
Each filter measures 125 × 125 × 43mm and two are supplied. Howdens' own description refers to “this filter” in the singular while the specification on the same page states a pack size of two. We have followed the specification, so you will receive a pack of two.
