The lower chimney section for the Lamona LAM2410 60cm stainless steel chimney cooker hood. If your ceiling is higher than a standard chimney run will cover, this extra section extends the chimney downward from the ceiling so the ductwork stays hidden and the installation looks finished.
Which hood does it fit?
Howdens confirm in their own specification sheet for the LAM2410 that chimney sections HJA2481 and HJA2482 are available for this product. The section is 222mm wide, which matches the LAM2410's published chimney width of 222mm exactly.
It also served the earlier generation of the same hood — HJA2480 and LAM2401 — which shares the same chimney profile. Howdens still title this part "for HJA2480", a hood they no longer sell, which is why it can be hard to find if you own the current LAM2410.
Please note: this is one section, sold singly. HJA2482 is the lower section and HJA2481 is the upper section — they are different parts and are ordered separately. Check which one you need before ordering, and talk to us if you are not sure. Howdens do not publish a maximum stacked chimney height, so if you are covering an unusually high ceiling please ask us before you order rather than assuming sections can simply be added.

A note on the weight: Howdens' website lists this section as 0.2kg while their own specification sheet for the same part gives 0.8kg net and 1kg gross — the same as the upper section, which shares its dimensions and material. We have used the specification sheet's figure, which is the more credible of the two. It makes no difference to your delivery charge.
Installation
This is a trim part, not an electrical one — it fits over the existing ductwork as part of the hood's chimney assembly. It is normally fitted at the same time as the hood. We are happy to send you the LAM2410 installation manual before you order so your fitter can see exactly how the chimney sections stack.
