Tips for Introducing a touch of vintage in with the modern kitchen design

We Love vintage as well as modern contemporary kitchens so when we found this stunning vintage style painted pine kitchen island we had to share it with you. 

First thing to do is take a look at the available kitchen space. If it's already crowded then maybe placing more furniture in there isn't the best idea. But if you have enough space and need more useable storage in your kitchen these vintage pieces really make a difference. 

Why vintage?

Well vintage is much cooler isn't it? Of course it is and things were generally made better back in the day (generally) but the main reason to have 1 or 2 vintage kitchen items is they stand out and you're pretty much guaranteed to be the only person to have them.
